How to redact a resume or CV

Recruiters submitting candidates, job seekers posting samples, HR running blind screening — resume redaction is an everyday task usually done badly with black rectangles that hide nothing.

The blind-screening checklist

• Name (search-and-redact catches every occurrence, including headers)
• Email + phone (one-click auto-detect)
• Address, LinkedIn URL, photo
• For anonymization: graduation years and other proxy identifiers, per your policy
